Review Manuscripts, Books, and other scholarly activity for Journals
48 Conference proposal reviews: I have reviewed 14 proposals for ATMAE conference in the year 2017, 8 proposals for ATMAE 2018, and 12 proposals for ATMAE 2019, 13 proposals and one paper for ATMAE 2020.
13 manuscripts for peer reviewed journals: I have reviewed two manuscripts for JATMAE, two manuscripts for the Int J Math, Eng, Manag Sci., one manuscript for The Engineering Economist, one manuscript for Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy, two manuscripts for International Journal of Advanced Operations Management (IJAOM), three manuscripts for the American Society for Engineering Education and two manuscripts for the Journal of Quality Management Systems, Applied Engineering, and Technology Management
Three books: l reviewed a textbook that I used in my quality assurance class called Quality by summers the 6th and latest edition. The second book is “Blockchain: Confluence of Technology and Computational Excellence for Society 5.0”, by Khan / Haider / Bushager / Hammad. The third book is “Industry 5.0: Future of the Industrial Economy”, by Uthayan Elangovan, Neel SMARTEC Consulting, India.
30 courses reviewed for quality matters Reviewing courses for QM is a great way to ensure the quality of online and hybrid courses. Also, it helped me benchmark other online teaching practices used by other institutions.
Review courses for tenure application I have been requested to review a course for a colleague from the University of Minnesota Crookston campus (UMC). I have enjoyed the opportunity to review what my colleague is doing in his class so I could add the best practices to my classes. This also helped me developing my leadership skills by offering a constructive feedback to a colleague.
Review courses for Minnesota State Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence I have reviewed two courses for the Minnesota State Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence as part of the Competency Based Education (CBE) Development Project. This will impact the students who will be taking these courses in 30 colleges and 7 universities in the MnState system.
1. Two editions of my book are published 2019, 2020 I published a Resource Manual to Support Operation & Project Managers “Economics and Cost Analysis for Operations and Project Managers.”: I wrote this textbook to help professionals and learners prepare financial analyses of alternatives using spreadsheets. I have been teaching this course for more than eight years now, and I realized the need for a contemporary textbook in the subject. Therefore, I developed a textbook that fits the needs of this generation of learners, millennials and beyond.
5. Review Manuscripts, Books, and other scholarly activity for Journals The following screenshots represent the proofs to these activities
6. 30 courses reviewed for quality matters I enjoy reviewing courses for my colleagues as I learn from them the best practices. I served as a chair of the review committee on 19 of these reviews.
7. Review courses for tenure application I have been asked by the business department at University of Minnesota -Crookston to review lean six sigma course as a part of their tenure track process. This also helped me developing my leadership skills by offering a constructive feedback to a colleague.
